I have worked for this company for over four years now and can honestly say they have always gone above and beyond for both their staff and service users. They are incredibly accommodating, approachable, and personable, which creates such a positive and supportive working environment.

As a support worker, it’s so rewarding to be part of a team that genuinely prioritises the quality of life of the people they support. They continuously encourage independence and daily living skills, promote access to the community, and even support service users to experience holidays overseas — creating opportunities and memories that truly make a difference. Joining this company was one of the best decisions I made and I have never looked back. I’m proud to be part of such a caring and dedicated team.

Working as a House Manager for Your Choice has been one of the most rewarding roles I’ve had. I genuinely love my job, have built great friendships with both colleagues and the people we support, and find the work incredibly fulfilling.

Every day brings opportunities to make a positive difference, and it’s a role I’m proud to be part of. No two days are the same which I love, and work never really feels like work!

I've been working now at Your Choice Assisted Living for over seven years, I must say this is the happiest I've been in a long time. I've got over 26 years of experience as a care and  support worker and I've worked in many places including running my own day center for 17 years, I've known Your Choice since the first day they started up... as they always supported me through  when I ran my day center and sent clients to me I've always felt supported here and could go to the management if I had any problems and they supported me in every aspect

I recently lost my dad through cancer and they gave me two weeks off with full pay and  all the management team individually continued to check  up on me and to see if I was ok  and if anything they could do to help which was proper lovely and I couldn't ask for any more from them

Where do I start? my experience of working for Your Choice is wanting to go to work and being made to feel like your so appreciated and your not an employee but your part of a lovely caring professional family. It's called Your Choice but it's the best choice I ever made

I have been working at Your Choice Assisted Living for around 6 Years now and before Your Choice I had no idea if this was the right career for me but I absolutely love what I do! I enjoy working alongside the team but also getting to make a difference every day!

I knew about Your choice as they also provide support for my sister and the team that support her are so person centred and have changed her life in so many ways.

It’s an amazing company that is person centred for their staff and service users, and we are all so lucky to be a part of such a great company

Your Choice Assisted Living is by far the best care company I have worked for in my care career so far. I love the job, love the clients and the staff team are lovely to work with. Just helping  someone and making them smile everyday makes life worth living and that’s why Your Choice is by far the best company to work for and knowing all our clients are getting the best care needed.

I have worked in the care sector for 20 years and in the short time of working here in 8 months I have seen how incredible the company is. The service users are paramount and at the centre of the care provided. Person centred care which is actually what is provided; whilst promoting independence and achieving individual goals.

The management and staff team are excellent. Not only do the company push for their service users to achieve and progress they also promote the same within the staff team to progress and achieve.

Hayley

Working at Your Choice Assisted Living has been a really positive experience for me. The management team are approachable, supportive, and genuinely willing to listen to feedback from staff. What stands out most is that ideas don’t just get discussed and forgotten about — there’s a real effort to follow through and improve the service for both staff and the people we support. They’re open to challenging the norm and trying new approaches if it means achieving better outcomes for service users.

There’s a strong sense of teamwork across the company, and staff are trusted to use their judgement and skills rather than feeling micromanaged. I’ve felt valued in my role and have been given opportunities to contribute towards meaningful positive changes within the service. It’s rewarding to see the progress service users make over time, especially when consistent support and person-centred approaches make a genuine difference to their quality of life.

The company also encourages ongoing learning and development, with good training opportunities and support to grow professionally. Overall, it’s a workplace where staff ideas are respected, hard work is recognised, and the main focus consistently stays on improving the lives of the people we support.
